Music that Stirs the Soul
Music is such a powerful tool that can be used to evangelize, lift our spirits and draw people closer to God and His Church. We all know how inspiring it is to hear a beautiful choir during Mass or a contemporary youth group so full of the spirit participating in the Liturgy.
In addition to the beautiful Liturgical music used within the Church during Mass, there is also a growing evangelical contemporary Catholic music movement, much like the contemporary Christian music (CCM) scene that has been booming over the past several years.
With all of the negative media and music that people, especially our youth, are bombarded with on a daily basis, it is nice to know that there are alternatives out there that can be used to entertain, but best of all, to draw us closer to God and His Church.
