Get your Parish involved in Catholic Evangelization It is our duty as Catholic Christians to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ’s teachings. “Always be prepared to give an answer for what you believe.”(1 Peter 3:15) Learn your faith and share it lovingly with the community. A good way to do this is to get your parish involved in the evangelism process, perhaps starting a group which could distribute holy cards that contain an invitation on the back to attend a Catholic Mass and receive free information about the Sacrifice of the Mass from the One Bread Website. One Bread can also put together an evangelization packet for each member of your group to assist you in your evangelization efforts. The group could meet monthly to provide encouragement for the Catholic evangelists, sharpen their skills as Catholic apologists and to gain other ideas for evangelizing in the community. Another way your parish may help in Catholic evangelization is by sending the bulletin notice below to the person responsible for putting together your parish bulletin. This write-up directs Catholics and Non-Catholics to visit the One Bread Website for free information about the Catholic Church. The following is an example of an announcement that could be placed in your parish bulletin.

If your parish does decide to evangelize with the help of One Bread we would love to hear about your success stories and to publish them on our Website. Thousands of people convert to the Catholic faith every year. Many of them, after finding the fullness of truth in the Catholic Church often state that they “just didn’t know,” because their Catholic friends or acquaintances never told them who the Catholic Church really is. For instance, that she is the Bride of Christ, the one, true Church founded by Jesus Christ, that she is the protector of Divine truth in all its fullness, and that she offers to God the highest form of worship on earth in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. Get your parish involved today in spreading the Catholic Faith to all those who “just don’t know.”
